Good morning everyone. I want to share my thoughts, on the state of country music as it is today. There are a LOT of great country songs out there. Songs that make us want to party and dance, cry and mourn. However, why are there so many that have a ‘Rock’ sound? There are some truly gifted guitar pickers out there. But, do you have to have a SCREAMING electric guitar in the song? I would prefer a steel pedal or fiddle for a solo. What are your thought? Is country trying to hard to crossover?
